Act Up Sing Out Music Theatre Program

Youth Music Theatre Program

This program offers courses and workshops for youth that provide training, development and performance opportunities in music theatre.

 

• Juniors aged 7–11 years join a workshop to learn the basics of music theatre, rehearsing for two terms & performing a short production at the Ainslie Arts Centre.
• Youth aged up to 18 years audition for a place in the cast of a major production, rehearsing for one term at the Ainslie Arts Centre & performing for a week in a Canberra theatre.

YOUTH             Term 3

Info session:            Wednesday 16 May 5pm

Auditions:                 Dates to be advised – held over one weekend

Workshop:               Wednesdays 5pm-7pm & Sundays various times: starts 25 July

Performances:        3-10 October – Venue to be advised

                                    Special bookings for holiday programs & child-care centres
